Rizwan is the third Pakistani cricketer to complete 2500 runs in the shortest format. Pakistan skipper Babar is the Green Army’s all-time leading run-getter in the shortest format. Babar scored 3239 runs while Rizwan scored 2527 runs for Pakistan in T20Is. Former Pakistan all-rounder Hafeez scored 2514 runs in 119 matches for the 2009 world champions.
Talking about the recently concluded match between Pakistan and Netherlands, Rizwan’s knock of 49 runs and Fakhar Zaman’s 20-ball 16 led the Babar-led side to an easy 6-wicket win in Perth. Rizwan-led Pakistan chased down 91 in 13.5 overs. Pakistan’s Shadab Khan, who scored 3 goals and scored 22 runs, was named the best player of the match.
